Merchant Payment Programs
When onboarding a merchant, Atlas Payments offers four hardware payment program options that may be presented in proposals for new or existing merchants, subject to approval and qualification.
1. Free Hardware
Hardware is provided at no upfront cost
A 36-month Early Termination Fee (ETF) is included in the Merchant Processing Agreement
The ETF equals the total hardware and deployment costs, including shipping and accessories
Qualification Requirements:
2–3 months of recent credit card processing statements
36-month ETF acknowledgment
Estimated ROI under 4-5 months
2. Buy-One-Get-One (BOGO)
The merchant purchases a primary device
Atlas Payments provides a second device at no cost
The ETF equals the total hardware and deployment costs, including shipping and accessories
Qualification Requirements:
The ETF may be waived upon approval
Approval is based on the merchant’s processing performance and risk profile
3. Monthly Installments
Hardware is paid in two (2) or four (4) monthly installments
Payments are billed monthly and collected via credit card or ACH
Payments are collected immediately after the agreement is executed
First installment is due at signing
Qualification Requirements:
No ETF applies unless explicitly specified
4. Pay-in-Full
The merchant purchases all hardware in a single upfront payment
Payment is due immediately after signing via credit card or ACH
Qualification Requirements:
No ETF applies unless explicitly specified
Installation Fees (Optional)
Sales representatives may add an installation fee at their discretion. If added, the installation fee is collected at signing of the proposal and is paid in full or can be done via monthly installments.
NOTE: Installation fees serve as additional compensation to the sales representative, separate from residuals
