Extended Clover Protection

The Clover Care protection plan is an optional extended protection program that provides coverage for accidental damage and manufacturer defects on eligible Clover devices beyond the standard 1-year manufacturer warranty.

Coverage Overview

  • Coverage for up to three (3) years from the device’s original shipment date

  • Protection against manufacturer defects, faulty devices, and accidental damage

  • A maximum of three (3) device replacements during the Clover Care term

Coverage Rules & Limitations

  • Clover Care coverage does not carry over when a device is re-provisioned

  • Clover Care cannot be added to re-provisioned Clover devices

  • Coverage applies only to eligible devices enrolled within the allowed timeframe

Replacement Devices

When a device covered under Clover Care is replaced:

  • Remaining Clover Care coverage is automatically transferred to the replacement device’s serial number

  • Coverage continues for the original Clover Care term

  • Coverage timelines do not reset after a replacement

  • Replacement devices ship next business day if ordered by 5:30 PM EST on a business day

Enrollment Eligibility

Clover Care may be added:

  • During initial merchant account onboarding

  • Within one (1) year of the device’s original shipment date

IMPORTANT: After the one-year window has passed, Clover Care can no longer be added to an account.

Standard Manufacturer Warranty (Non–Clover Care)

Devices without Clover Care have:

  • A standard one (1) year manufacturer warranty comes with all hardware

  • Replacement devices shipped within 24 hours if ordered by 5:30 PM EST on a business day

  • Replacement coverage valid only for the remaining portion of the original warranty term

Re-provisioned devices:

  • The standard 12-month Clover manufacturer warranty remains valid when a device is re-provisioned

  • Clover Care cannot be added to a device that's already been re-provisioned

How to Request Clover Care

Email hello@atlaspayments.co and include the following:

  • Merchant DBA name & MID

  • Device(s) that need to be added

  • Quantity of each device

Upon receipt of the request, a Clover Care Protection Plan document will be sent for e-signature using the merchant’s email address and phone number on file, and is sent the same day.

Merchant Requirements

To successfully add Clover Care, the merchant must:

  • Sign the Clover Care Protection Plan agreement

  • Pay the total fees for all insured devices (if appliable)
