What’s in the package
• Clover Station Duo all-in-one POS system with dual screens (merchant + customer)
• Built-in thermal receipt printer
• Power brick & power cord
• Optional cash drawer (if bundled)
• Quick-Start guide & documentation
• Green hex screwdriver for setup hardware

Connect & Activate
Place the Duo on your countertop and plug the base power cable into the unit and then into the wall outlet.
Connect network:
• Ethernet — plug one end of the LAN cable into the Duo and the other into your router/switch.
• Wi-Fi — use on-screen network setup to join your secure WPA/WPA2 wireless network.Power on. The system will display Clover’s startup screen.
Follow on-screen prompts to select language, connect network, and enter your activation code (from your Clover welcome email).
Let the device download updates and apps from the Clover App Market.
Accepting Payments
• Insert EMV chip cards into the slot on the customer-facing terminal screen.
• Swipe magnetic-stripe cards in the groove on the customer terminal.
• Tap NFC cards or mobile wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.) on the contactless symbol.
• Customers can view order details, enter a tip, and complete payment on their screen.
Security & Everyday Functions
Dual touchscreens — 14″ merchant display + 8″ customer display for faster checkout and interaction.
Receipt printing — built-in high-speed thermal dot printer.
Barcode scanning — integrated dual cameras support 1D/2D scanning for UPC/QR.
Connectivity — Ethernet, Wi-Fi (and optional LTE in some models).
Ports & expansion — USB ports for peripherals; RJ12 ports for cash drawer.
Security — End-to-end encryption, tokenization, and integrated EMV support.
Replace Receipt Paper
Pull open the paper tray door under the merchant display.
Place a new thermal roll with the paper feeding up toward the front.
Close the door and print a test receipt.
(The Duo printer is integrated; paper path access mirrors other Clover systems.)
Power & Network
AC Power — Plug the included power brick into the Duo and then the wall.
Network
• Ethernet cable for stable LAN connection.
• Wi-Fi setup through device settings if using wireless.
Staff Access (Employees App)
• Create, edit, or delete staff profiles with unique passcodes.
• Assign PINs to employees for secure login at the start of shifts.
• Once configured, employees enter their PIN to begin working.
Daily Controls
• Power on — With power connected, the Duo boots automatically.
• Sleep/Wake — The system may auto-sleep; tap screen or press power to wake.
Rebooting
• Soft reboot — Through on-screen menu settings, select Restart.
• Hard reboot — Disconnect power, wait 10–15 sec, reconnect, and let the Clover logo load.
