What’s in the package

Connect & Activate
Place the Station Solo on your countertop near power and network access.
Plug the power adapter into the Solo and then into an outlet.
Choose your network connection:
• Ethernet — connect a LAN cable from your router/switch into the Solo.
• Wi-Fi — use on-screen setup to join your secure WPA/WPA2 network.Power on — the screen will display the Clover logo as it boots.
Follow on-screen prompts to select your language, connect to the network, and enter your activation code (from your Clover welcome email).
Let the device download the latest software and app updates.
Accepting Payments
• EMV chip cards — insert in the integrated chip slot.
• Magnetic-stripe cards — swipe in the built-in MSR reader.
• Contactless/NFC payments — tap compatible cards or mobile wallets.
• PIN debit — customers can enter PINs via the touchscreen when prompted.
• Digital receipts — optionally send receipts via SMS or email.
Transactions and receipts appear on the display and print instantly.
Security & Everyday Functions
All-in-one design — integrated high-speed thermal receipt printer and a tiltable 14″ touchscreen display streamline checkout.
Barcode scanning — built-in cameras support 1D/2D barcode scanning (may be used with barcode scanner apps).
Connectivity — Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and optional 4G/LTE keep you connected.
Ports & expansion — USB ports for peripherals; 2 RJ12 ports to connect one or two cash drawers.
Security — PCI-compliant encryption and hardened Android OS protect payments.
Cash drawer support — automatically opens on cash transactions when connected via the interface cable.
Replace Receipt Paper
Open the receipt printer cover (typically under/behind the display).
Drop in the thermal paper roll with the paper feeding toward the front.
Close the cover and print a test receipt to confirm correct feeding.
Power & Network
AC Power — Plug the included power adapter into the Station Solo and then into the wall.
Network
• Ethernet — wired connection for stable network access.
• Wi-Fi — wireless setup via on-screen settings.
• LTE/4G — supported on select configurations for fallback or primary connectivity.
Staff Access (Employees App)
• Create, edit, or delete staff profiles, each with a unique passcode.
• Assign employee PINs for secure login at the start of their shifts.
• Customize roles and permissions to control access to functions.
• Staff log in via the Employees app to begin working.
Daily Controls
• Power on — With AC power connected, Solo boots automatically.
• Sleep / wake — Tap the screen or power button to wake.
• Screen navigation — Tap and swipe to navigate Clover apps and menus.
Rebooting
• Soft reboot — Use the on-screen settings menu to restart the system.
• Hard reboot — Disconnect power for ~10–15 seconds, reconnect, and allow the Clover logo to appear as the system restarts.
