POS for food trucks
Food truck POS in North and South Carolina
Square POS set up for your truck, your menu and your stops, installed in person and backed 24/7 by our Charlotte team.

What is the best POS for a food truck?
For most food trucks in North and South Carolina, Square is the best fit. It takes cards with no signal and syncs when you reconnect, runs on a handheld at the window, and adds QR and online ordering to shorten your line. Atlas Payments installs it, loads your menu and trains your crew in person.
Recommended starting point
Square, set up for life on wheels.
Usually Square. We confirm it after we see how you run.
- Take cards with no signal. Square holds payments offline and processes them when your truck reconnects.
- Move the line faster with Square Handheld at the window and QR or online ordering for pickup.
- Tell regulars where you'll be. Square texts and emails share your next stop and today's specials.

Yes. Square takes card payments offline and processes them automatically when your device reconnects. Reconnect within 24 hours, because offline payments that can't process by then are declined. We turn offline mode on and show your crew how it works before your first service.
Most trucks run on one Square Handheld or Square Terminal at the window, plus a printer if you cook to order. Busy trucks add a second handheld to take orders down the line. We size the setup to your menu and your crew.
Yes. Square gives you a branded online ordering page and QR codes, so customers order and pay from their phone and pick up when it's ready. Those orders land on the same POS as your window sales.
Yes. Clover Flex works on a truck too, and Atlas Payments sells and supports both. We usually recommend Square for trucks because of its offline mode, handhelds and built-in online ordering, but we'll set up whichever fits how you run.
